Are you taking new patients?
Yes! Doxa Health and Wellness LLC is currently accepting new patients. We offer both Telehealth services and in-office appointments to meet your needs.
Telehealth Appointments:
To request a Telehealth visit, please call our office to schedule your appointment.
In-Office Appointments:
For in-office visits, we kindly ask that patients book an appointment in advance.
No walk-ins are allowed at this time.
What age groups do you work with?
We work with clients of all ages, starting from children as young as 6 years old to adults of any age.
What types of services do you offer and how do I determine which ones I need?
At Doxa Health and Wellness LLC, we offer comprehensive mental health services tailored to your unique needs. Our services include thorough psychiatric evaluations and personalized medication management.
If you’ve been experiencing challenges related to your mental health and feel the need to talk to someone, we’re here to help. Our team can assist you in scheduling an appointment with one of our experienced clinicians, who will work with you to determine the best course of care.
Do you provide therapy?
Yes, we provide psychotherapy such as cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy.
What do I need to participate in Telehealth?
You will need a device that allows both audio and video communication. This may be a computer, tablet, phone, etc. During your appointment time, we will send a link to your device which you simply click on to be connected to a video call with the provider.
Our clinicians provide face-to-face telehealth through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform which is secure and easy to use.
What if I would rather come to the office for appointments?
We offer in-person appointments at our office, conveniently located at 4061 Powder Mill Road, Suite 400-1, Beltsville, Maryland. Please note that visits are by appointment only, and we are unable to accommodate walk-ins at this time
Do you accept insurance?
Yes, We’re currently in network with Aetna, CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Tricare, Maryland Medicaid (MCOs) and Medicare. Please note coverage varies depending on your insurance plan and the services you need.
For Maryland Medicaid Managed Care Organizations (MCOs), we accept the following:
- AmeriHealth Community Care
- Aetna Better Health
- CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Maryland
- Kaiser Permanente
- Maryland Physicians Care
- MedStar Family Choice
- Priority Partners
- Riverside Health of Maryland

What if I don’t have insurance and want to pay out of pocket?
If you do not have insurance/want to pay out of pocket, below is a good faith estimate of various service charges:
- Initial psychiatric evaluation up to 60 minutes- $250
- Each medication management appointment (Follow-Up) for up to 30 minutes- $150
- Psychotherapy session up to 60 minutes – $200
Can you provide service to me out of state?
Please note that clients are required to be physically located in Maryland at the time of their appointment.
Can you fill out a form I need for school/ work/ court/ disability accommodations/ etc.?
We are happy to assist with completing forms for school, work, court, disability accommodations, and other purposes. To ensure accuracy and provide appropriate documentation, an established care relationship of at least 6 months is required, particularly for disability-related forms.

What is a CRNP-PMH?
A CRNP-PMH is a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in Psychiatric Mental Health. These are advanced practice nurses who hold either a master’s or doctoral degree in nursing. They are board-certified and licensed in their state to provide comprehensive psychiatric services to individuals across the lifespan.
CRNP-PMHs are specially trained and experienced in assessing, diagnosing, treating, and managing both acute and chronic mental health conditions. Their services may include:
- Providing psychotherapy (talk therapy)
- Prescribing and managing psychiatric medications
- Ordering and interpreting lab tests and diagnostic studies
- Collaborating with patients and their families to create personalized treatment plans
They play a key role in helping individuals achieve better mental health and overall well-being.
